ECO DRIVING MEMO

Actros is equipped with the innovative external view camera system MirrorCam having an aerodynamic design. In addition to decreasing fuel consumption by 1.5%, it secures driver’s vision of the space around the vehicle and frontal axles. Furthermore, MirrorCam assists the driver in securing safe movement by helping them maneuver, make turns and change lanes.

Eco Driving

Maximum speed 82 km/h when using cruise control. Recommended for maximum fuel saving.

When braking, engine’s rotational speed may reach up to 2,300 RPM. We save brake pads and discs, but most importantly, we save fuel. You must assess the road topping and braking power when it’s cold, raining or when the rods become icy.

The integrated holding feature is activated when the vehicle stops, e.g., at the red light – just hold the brake pedalto prevent the vehicle from moving.
